The Board of Trustees of Mansoura National University held its meeting today, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. AlSayed Ahmed Abdel Khalek - former Minister of Higher Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Cherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University and President of Mansoura National University, and members of the Board of Trustees, to set the conditions for advertising the position of President of Mansoura National University.

The Board agreed to open the door for applications for the presidency of the university during the period from May 25 to June 6, 2024, as well as agreeing to form a committee to examine the required papers and rank those who meet the conditions, while forming a committee to interview candidates who meet the conditions and criteria, including a gentleman with extensive experience in higher education management from outside the university.

The Council also discussed the proposal to take the necessary measures to approve the establishment of a number of new colleges and programs in the next academic year with the aim of responding to the needs of the labor market, and that the university's study programs are prepared in accordance with international standards to prepare distinguished graduates.
